Log Skid Steer Lower Cab Door Hatch

The Cab Guard, Under Door Hatch project by Argo Products involved the design and manufacturing of a durable storage door system for both sides of a log skid steer. This project required the application of various precision manufacturing processes, including machining, stamping, and forming as primary methods, with robotic welding used as a secondary process to ensure strength and reliability. To achieve the desired quality and functionality, Argo Products utilized advanced equipment such as the Lincoln Electric Robotic Weld Station, machining centers, punch presses, and press brakes.

The storage doors were constructed using low carbon steel and 7-gauge high-strength, low-alloy Grade 50 steel, materials chosen for their durability and ability to withstand harsh environments. For a high-quality finish, the parts were coated with powder over primer, achieving a Class B finish that provides excellent corrosion resistance and an appealing appearance. This project highlights Argo Products' capabilities in delivering robust, precision-engineered components tailored to meet the rigorous demands of heavy-duty applications.
